About the Journal

ARKHAS ("AR" Arabic, "KHAS" KH. Achmad Siddiq) is an Arabic teaching journal published by PBA Pascasarjana UIN KH. Achmad Siddiq Jember, Indonesia. The editors invite experts and academics to contribute their manuscripts, whether in the form of research results, in-depth opinions, book reviews relating to Arabic teaching themes. This journal is published periodically twice a year, the first issue in June, the second issue in December as a vehicle for scientific communication around Arabic teaching written in Arabic or English.

- We will charge an APC of IDR 500.000 (for both foreign authors). APC must be paid

Achmad Siddiq Jember, Indonesia. The editors invite experts and academics to contribute their manuscripts, whether in the form of research results or in-depth opinions related to Arabic teaching themes.

Scope
ARKHAS: Journal of Arabic Language Teaching promotes high-quality research and scholarly discussion on Pedagogy and Instructional Development in Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language (TAFL) across formal and non-formal educational settings. Its scope encompasses studies on the main topics: 1) teaching Arabic as a foreign language, 2) strategy of Arabic teaching, 3) media of Arabic language teaching, 4) technology of Arabic language teaching, 5) modern standard Arabic language teaching, 6) second language (Arabic) acquisition, and 7) Teaching of Arabic literature.

ARKHAS: Journal of Arabic Language Teaching has been indexed in DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) and accredited by the Indonesian Ministry of Research and Technology. It has been ranked Sinta 4 (fourth grade) by the Science and Technology Index under No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025.

Screening Plagiarism
All manuscripts must be free from plagiarism contents. All authors suggest using plagiarism detection software to do similarity checking. Editors check the plagiarism detection of articles in this journal using Turnitin software, a maximum of 25%.
